Water Weights are actually actively pursuing a new set of guidelines with help from relative governing bodies. Above is a copy of the old safety notice (which have been withdrawn), and an internal document that refers to meeting the requirements and provisions of Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). We are using this document while the new guidelines are being developed.
Currently we still work to the recommendations of the old Safety Notice Point 3, and in the UK we also observe point 5 specifically for the the North Sea Oil & Gas environment.
When the new guidelines are reviewed and eventually produced as an Industry Standard, they will be under the heading: The design, inspection and use of water bags.
We hope to see it available within the next 3-4 months.
